Stake.com New Main Sponsor Sauber F1 Team

Stake.com is the new main sponsor of the Sauber F1 team for the next two seasons. Last year the company was already co-sponsor of the F1 team, which was then known as Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake. As of this year the team will use the name Stake F1 Team.

Stake Or Kick?

Stake.com streaming platform Kick plays another significant role in the promotional activities during F1 events. In countries where a Grand Prix is held but gambling advertisements are prohibited, Kick.com will take over Stake’s advertising space. Kick.com was founded by the crypto casino owners in December 2022 as an answer to Twitch’s ban on online gambling ads which also affected Stake.com’s online marketing activities. China, Bahrain, Japan, Qatar, and Singapore, among others, have bans or restrictions on gambling advertisements. These countries all host an F1 Grand Prix. Sauber F1 Team also worked around the ban in 2023 with Kick, when Stake was still the co-sponsor.

Stake’s Global Marketing Machine

Stake’s marketing activities are not only limited to sponsorships in Formula 1. The online crypto casino has set up various sponsorship deals in professional football. The crypto casino is the main sponsor of Premier League club Everton, despite the opposition of the club’s fans. Stake is also known for its intense collaboration with the Canadian rapper/singer Drake. The Canadian artist regularly streams his gambling adventures at the Stake.com. Drake’s activities have been widely criticised, amongst others, due to his relatively large bet sizes.
